World Thinking Day
Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from over 150 countries around the world commemorate World Thinking Day, a celebration of girls that has taken place every February 22 since 1926. Celebrate this day with impactful activities that help her speak out, take action and advocate for positive change on global issues affecting young women.

Selling S’mores® for S’More Contest
Girl Scouts can sweeten their cookie sale with this altogether awesome contest between now and March 4, by selling more S’mores® to win “s’more!” Show off your S’mores®-themed display and entrepreneurial skills for a chance to win first and second prize in two categories: troops with the highest sales of Girl Scout S’mores® by March 4, and the most creative Girl Scout S’mores®-themed booth. Be sure to follow us and share cookie booth photos on our @GSGWM Facebook contest post (top pin).
Parent & Child Booths
Does your Girl Scout have big goals? Want to help her reach those goals and experience selling cookies like #CookieBoss? A Parent or Guardian and their Girl Scout can hold a booth sale. We still have council locations in eBudde that your troop leader can help you secure. If you have an idea or opportunity for a new booth location be sure and check with your Community Product Sale Coordinator to get permission and obtain permits (if applicable). Girl Scouts and their families are getting ready to experience Everything Exciting for Girls at the area’s only girl-centered expo! Join us for a day filled with over 100 family-oriented activities, interactive exhibitors, fun workshops, live stage shows, raffles and more! Online registration is $3 pp for Members, and $5 pp for Non-Members until March 31. Tickets available online through April, and at the door for $5 per person.

Girl Scout Week
Celebrate Girl Scout Week March 11-17, including Girl Scouts Birthday (also known as National Girl Scout Day) on March 12, commemorating the day in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low officially registered the organization’s first 18 girl members in Savannah, Georgia. Keep an eye on the GSGWM website in the coming weeks for ideas to help celebrate this significant week in Girl Scouting. Girl Scout Night with the Harlem Globetrotters in NH & VT
The Original Harlem Globetrotters are on the road for their action packed tour! This star-studded roster will have fans on the edge of their seats to witness the ball-handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that thrills fans of all ages.
All Girl Scouts attending the show will be on the list to enter a Special Girl Scout Meet and Greet with Hoops Green, an amazing female player on the Harlem Globetrotters team!
New Programs on Demand
We are excited to announce two new Programs on Demand with Holbrook Travel and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, providing easy, convenient and fun learning opportunities for Girl Scouts. Customize your next travel journey and deepen your knowledge about local customs, or discover what it’s like to live and work in space and learn how rockets and telescopes work!
Share Your Ideas
We are eager to hear from our Girl Scouts! Each month we will ask a question that we would like to have Girl Scouts and their troops answer. We will draw one entry from each month’s responses and award a $10 troop credit toward a program event of your choice. This month’s question is: “What themes or topics would you like to see incorporated into next year’s program guide offerings?” Please provide your response by February 28.

Winter Getaway – March 10, Holderness, NH
Take a boat cruise around the lake, then join a staff naturalist at the Squam Lake Natural Science Center for a guided walk on the live animal exhibit trail. Don’t miss a behind-the-scenes tours of the animal care room to learn how these native animals adapt for winter weather.
Science Makes the World a Better Place – March 12, Online
Lead science experiments at home to earn your Science Journey. Make the world a better place using science with a Take Action with STEM Project. Participate on your own or with a troop.
Virtual Running Club – March 20, Online
From beginners to experts, girls and adults can participate in this fun online club. Learn about healthy living, receive a T-shirt and patch, and post your running times on a password-protected website.
Older Girl Conference – May 20, Camp Farnsworth
Join us for this fun leadership weekend at Camp Farnsworth for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors! Design your own weekend adventure choosing topics from stress relief and resume building, to exploring your global community. Stay for the whole weekend or just one day. We will provide your meals and fun entertainment on Friday and Saturday night.
