Outlook – Monthly Updates for Girl Scout Volunteers February 2018

It’s Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Initial Orders are complete and Girl Scouts are now gearing up for booth sales, just eight days away! If you have a booth sale planned for next weekend, be sure to enter your cupboard order in eBudde by Monday, February 12 for pickup on Friday, February 16.

Cookie Booths are a great way for troops and girls to reach or exceed their goals! Even if your troop did not submit an Initial Order you can still participate. There are several council booth slots available in eBudde and your Community Product Sales Coordinator can provide you with other local opportunities as well.

Adult Recognitions and Awards

Adult Recognitions are a special way of saying “thank you” to adult volunteers in Girl Scouting who provide invaluable support. Do you know a volunteer who goes above and beyond the call of duty to support Girl Scouts? Show your appreciation for everything they do by nominating them for an adult Girl Scout recognition.

Nominations for Board-approved recognitions are due by March 15. Awards will be presented at the Volunteer Celebration Luncheon on May 20.

Share Your Ideas

We are eager to hear from your troop! Each month we will ask a question that we would like to have the Girl Scouts in your troop answer. We will draw one entry from each month’s responses and award a $10 troop credit toward a program event of your choice. This month’s question is: “What themes or topics would you like to see incorporated into next year’s program guide offerings?” Please provide your troop’s response by February 28.

We are in the process of updating our materials, forms, and stationary to reflect the new address. Contact our Customer Care Team with any questions.
