It’s Time to Register for Another Girl Scout Year
Register for the 2017-2018 membership year before June 30, you’ll receive a FREE Power of G.I.R.L. patch and also have the chance to attend one of our remaining Early Registration Parties. Open to all girls registered for the upcoming year (prior to the date of the Early Registration Party), these events are your chance to make crafts, play games, dance, and have fun with all your Girl Scout friends! The Membership of a Lifetime
Graduation season is the perfect time to give the gift of Girl Scouting! Lifetime members are a cherished part of the Girl Scout family.
Ready to join? Start with completing the Lifetime Membership Form. Graduating high school seniors (Ambassador Girl Scouts) who register by September 1, 2017 are eligible for special pricing. Cookie Dough may be used toward lifetime membership dues.
Volunteering This Summer?
Are you chaperoning your girl’s camporee, or volunteering at other upcoming summer troop activities? Please remember that ALL Girl Scout volunteers MUST register as a member and undergo a background check. This process can take up to 3 weeks.

Extended Hours at The Mountain Top Shop
As summer approaches, the days are getting longer. And good news – so are the hours to The Mountain Top Shop! We’re extending our hours and will be open until 6:30 pm on May 25 and June 1 at our Bedford and Williston locations.
A reminder: Our stores and offices will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observation of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.
Council Take Action Project Reminder
Girls have one more month to lead Take Action for Healthy Living Projects focused on helping their communities be healthier. Projects of all sizes are encouraged. Girls can apply for funding for their projects through a Take Action Mini Grant from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation and will receive a special girl-designed patch.

Discover the beauty of the outdoors, learn about nature, create art, and earn your Outdoor Artist Badge. Participate independently or with a troop, at your own pace.
Summer Science Club
Spend your summer doing science experiments, crafts, cooking, and more as we read about women in science and earn your It’s Your Planet Journey. Participate independently or with a troop, at your own pace. Journey Book and Badges included in girl fee.
Boston Breakers – June 24, Cambridge, MA
Spend the evening with the longest running women’s professional soccer team! Registered Girl Scouts, friends, and family are invited to attend a Boston Breakers soccer game at Jordan Field, Harvard University. Patch included.
Jump-In – July 5-28, Various Vermont Locations
Grab your sneakers and try six different types of jumping, including long rope, double Dutch, and more! You’ll also dance, play games, make new friends, and have lots of fun!
G.I.R.L. 2017 – October 5-8, Bedford, NH
GSGWM is offering individuals and troops (Cadettes through Ambassadors) the opportunity to attend G.I.R.L. 2017 with a bus trip to Columbus, Ohio.
