Countdown to Camp
With less than 100 days until camp, we’re looking forward to another unforgettable summer! Our Girl Scout camps offer something for every girl, from amazing outdoor adventures to fun science experiments. Best of all, it’s girl-led – meaning girls of every age are involved in planning and organizing camp activities. Girls can try new things, explore nature, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

In Your Own Words
Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors – NOW is your chance to shine! Fire up those laptops, and tell us how Girl Scouting has impacted your life in 500 words or more. All essayists will receive a free patch. Winning essayists will receive a GSGWM gift card and will be featured guests at our ToGetHerThere Luncheon this spring!
A Sweet Cookie Season
With just 10 days until our Cookie Program wraps up on April 2, there’s still time for girls to reach their goals. Girls who sold 100 or more Girl Scout Cookie packages will be eligible for Cookie Dough! Cookie Dough cards will be mailed in May, and may be used toward girl membership registration, camp, and in our retail stores, among other things. Early Registration Rocks!
Registration for the 2017 – 2018 membership year begins April 1. Register before June 30 and you’ll get a free Power of G.I.R.L. patch!
Yet another reason to register early – get your party shoes ready! Throughout May and June, we’ll be holding special events for girls who are registered for the 2017-2018 year. There will be dancing, crafts, games, and more! Watch our website for details.
Art for Action
Calling all aspiring artists – we need YOU to design our patch for our Council Take Action for Healthy Living project!
As our girls, troops, and communities delve into projects aimed at encouraging healthier lifestyles, we’re looking for the perfect patch to embody the mission.
Enter your patch designs today. Deadline is March 31. Everyone who enters will have the chance to win an awesome volleyball!
Design Your Own Program!
Great news – we’ve extended our voting deadline for our Design Your Own Program contest! You’ve voted for theme, activities, and length of program, now help decide the final details. Will you learn about creatures of the dark or help animals in your community? You decide! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to vote – you just may win free registration to the program!
Travel Information Session – April 4 from 6 to 7 pm
For Cadettes – Ambassadors. Learn about upcoming Girl Scout travel opportunities- without leaving your living room! This exciting session will also include information on G.I.R.L. 2017, plus a sneak peek at our Summer 2019 trip! Register by April 3.
Program Aide – April 8 from 10 am to 3 pm
For Cadettes – Ambassadors. Learn how to be a Program Aide and be a role model for younger Girl Scouts, deepen your understanding of leadership, and get excited about guiding your younger peers and enabling them to be leaders! Please note that the location has changed to Camp Farnsworth in Thetford, VT. Register by March 26.
University of New Hampshire, April 8 from 12 to 3 pm
University of Vermont, April 22 from 11 am to 1 pm
For Cadettes – Ambassadors. Join the Sisters of Kappa Delta for a college tour and learn about university life! Ask the sisters questions, learn about majors, and how to prepare for success during this fun, free event. Register by April 5 for UNH and April 18 for UVM.
Tech Adventure with Comcast Cares – April 19 from 4 to 8 pm
Juniors and older girls can join us at the Hudson Recreation Center in Hudson, NH. Create a computer using a Raspberry Pi kit and then use it to do cool things like make burping jelly beans. This event is free with support from Comcast Cares. Hosted by Girl Scout Troop 12360. Register by April 17.
Vermont Aviation – April 28 from 10 am to 2 pm
Juniors – Ambassadors can visit the Vermont airport of their choice, and learn how planes fly and airports operate. Participating airports include Barre/Montpelier, Bennington, Highgate, Lyndonville, Middlebury, Morrisville, Newport, Post Mills, Rutland, and Warren. Register by April 16.
